Vintage 1950s Curtis DCE Gold Filled Onyx Diamond Accent Pendant & Earrings Set

Splendid mid-century vintage gold filled pendant and earring set by Curtis Jewelry Manufacturing Co. of Providence, Rhode Island (also known as Curtis Creations). The design, inspired by Victorian Revival style, features glossy black onyx cabochons accented with sparkling clear stones in floral prong mounts, framed by textured gold filled borders.

The pendant measures approximately 7/8" long x 1/2" wide and the bale is stamped DCE G.F..

The earrings measure approximately 1/2" long x 7/16" wide and the backs are marked 14K G.F..

Circa 1950s–60s.

Curtis Creations marketed similar onyx and gold filled sets as containing genuine diamond accents (documented in original boxed sets). The accent stones in this set test in the diamond/moissanite range on both the Presidium Gem Tester II and the Diamond Selector II. While not lab certified, they are consistent with Curtis Creations’ advertised use of genuine diamonds in their mid-century designs.
