This ceramic vessel or crock was handcrafted in Georgia in 1987 by renowned potter Michael A. Crocker and painter Melvin S. The 7-inch tall by 6 inch wide in diameter vase or vessel features a folk art, farm style painting with a barrel and wagon wheel in a meadow, hand-painted in a blue color palette. The piece is signed by both artists and incorporates decorative features of hand painting and hand-molding, showcasing their artistic skills and attention to detail. This vintage, original piece captures a theme of farm life and abstract art, representing the craftsmanship of late 20th-century American pottery. This piece does have some staining to the surface that is yellow and may or may not come off with cleaning. I will leave it to the next owner to decide as I do not want to cause any damage. Otherwise there is no chips cracks or other damage.
